If you’re tearing your hair out trying to determine what you missed for the 100% world completion achievement, then you’ll be glad to know that ArenaNet is on it.
“Just as an FYI — the dev team has noticed your concerns about this and they have come up with a way to make world completion clearer for players. They’re planning a modest change to the map that will make it easier for you to see what you’ve done via the World Map. This change will roll out in a build in the near future,” said ArenaNet support liaison Gaile Gray in response to a complaint thread that 100% completion is bugged.
Right now, some players are experiencing that most frustrating problem: Stuck at the 97% mark or so no hint on what they missed and need to complete. Suggested solutions range from going to World vs. World, PvP and dungeon maps to going to the Chantry of Secrets to re-running through all the asura gates nab the missing progression points.
With the planned world completion upgrade, players should no longer have to rely on this trial-and-error method and will have a better idea on which exploration areas they missed.
