In case you missed it, here’s a recording of the Lion’s Arch Mad King cut scene which was hyped up to be a “one time only event” which marked the beginning of Act 3 of the Halloween Event. It was pretty awesome seeing the statues explode and from the ruins the Mad King crawls out and does his whole “ooh, I’m scary and I know it” schtick.
We also feel bad for the many players who took time to log in only to have their cut scene bug out and show only a pile of green smoke where the Mad King should have been. We’ll give ArenaNet a pass this time around since this is their first go at these one-time events, so hopefully the next ones go smoother.
